Fabulatoire
Fabulatoire
The FABULATOIRE is a space for artistic and theatrical practice, shared by performers, creators, technical, production, and administrative staff. It actively works to produce new experiences and new narratives capable of transforming our systems, our ways of relating, our hierarchies, and our modes of circulation.
At a time when it has become clear that changing paradigms requires changing narratives, it is urgent to create the frameworks that will allow these to emerge.
The FABULATOIRE is conceived as a place where it is possible to work every day to place storytelling at the heart of transforming reality, and to reaffirm a belief in the capacity of live art to mobilize us—both intimately and collectively—in the face of a vital urgency: to reactivate the power of our imaginations and to rearm our bodies in response to the challenges of our shared future.
The FABULATOIRE is a physical and symbolic space—fluid yet resilient, ephemeral yet present.
It is a place to work, to meet, to confront one another. Rehearsals, workshops, writing residencies, discussions, readings, and musical, visual, or scenographic research all take place here. It also houses the company’s offices, a large kitchen, a shared communal space, and a library of reference works on the arts and social sciences.
A true workshop for imagining possibilities, the FABULATOIRE is the beating heart of the company.
